This is a really good bit of kit, the arm is moveable but also very solid, it stays where you want it, once you've got the tablet in place its solid too. Overall an excellent mount.

Really impressed with this mount - am annoyed that I didn't buy one earlier! Used it to mount an iPad2 in a Mitsubishi Outlander. Until now, I have used an Android phone for maps, music and an ODBII app I run on the phone. Doing frequent drives to central France, decided to put an iPad 2 to better uses and took the plunge!
Once I was able to free the bolt, the next decision was what was the best way to mount the bracket. I suggest you take a little time to get this right. For me, I mounted the bracket at 12 o'clock (as you sit in the passenger seat and look down) as this meant I could easily push the arm forward and the holder then sat in the right place in the central console. The arm is pretty solid, so takes a bit of moving, so I took the path of least effort!!
During the test drive, there is minimal vibration - even over a dirt track at low speed. This is the thing I am most impressed with. I expected the mount to vibrate as caravan extending mirrors tend to, but nothing you'd notice at all.
My only criticism is that the mount itself is quite stiff meaning it takes a bit of effort to get the iPad in an out. It does come with 'feet' of various sizes meaning you can play around and get a good fit, but still, would be better if the release was slightly easier.
Overall, though, excellent product.

Easy to fit and stayed in the holder whilst off roading. Slight vibration from the car easily sorted with a sponge pad behind up against the dash on my Jeep Wrangler. If you need to hold an iPad, get one of these.

A first rate product, easily fitted into my 05 Landcruiser 120 - took less than 5 mins to instal to the bolt on the passenger seat rail. Out of the way but accessible. Personally better than fitting with a sucker to the windscreen.
