Does what it’s meant to do. I fix mine to the windscreen otherwise it means sticking a thin metal plate to the dash and fixing it to the plate. The rubber suction end doesn’t really stick to the dash otherwise
Good quality phone holder

This is a good quality item and seems well made. The magnet is strong and easily holds my Samsung A52s in a case. Strength of the suction mount seems to be very good on the windscreen, and didn't fall off even during the recent hot weather. Range of adjustment is also good, so it's easy to get the phone into a good position.
The stalk is firm and holds it's position well. My only complaint is that the stalk is quite short, so if you mount it low on the windscreen the phone is quite far back. Mounting it higher on the windscreen blocks your field of vision, which I think is unsafe. I have mounted it as low as possible on the right corner, next to the A pillar and its less intrusive in your field of view.
I can't mount it on top of the dash as my Tiguan has a cubby hole with opening lid. Overall though, it is well made and does its job well.
