I ordered this phone case to help protect my new Samsung Note 9 and I am very pleased with the price, service, and quality of the phone case.

The quality is very good, it fits the phone perfectly and is of high quality. It also looks as good as it does in the photos on the site.

The Tech21 Evo folio case is a great case. I bought one at my local T-Mobile shop and had been using it for 3 days before I noticed the middle section at the far right corner would malfunction with my s pen. Upon further investigation I found out it was a magnet inside the right side of the case under a rubber flap. I took a razor blade and sliced horizontally on the rubber piece until I revealed a thin neodymium magnet(silver in color). The clasp ALSO contained a magnet as well as the 2 corners of the front cover. A total of 4 magnets were removed to return my Note 9 to full functionality with my S-Pen. A reviewer on here said there was no magnet on the case body, this is FALSE. I dug the thing out myself! I can see why they would say that, it is NOT east to find it as it is flat and well hidden under a rubber flap on the inner wall of the right side of the case. The area with the text on it is where the magnet is located. If you DON'T remove this magnet it will disrupt the electrical field of the S-Pen and you will encounter a "DEAD ZONE" in the disrupted electrical field area. An easy way to find the magnet is to very lightly hold a paper clip between your fingers and sweep the areas of you phone case with it. As the paper clip encounters the magnetic field it will be pulled in that direction. Once you have found it you must remove it unless you are ok with damaging your S-Pen and the capacitive touch screen in that area.
Overall the construction of the case is SUPREME, BUT the magnets MUST be addressed so people do not make the mistake of returning their phone thinking it is defective. If you don't believe me, take the phone out of the case and then use the S-Pen on the area where the dead zone was.
Now that I got all 4 magnets out, the S-Pen works perfectly and I LOVE my Tech21 case!

My Tech21 Evo Wallet Note 9 case finally arrived and it is absolutely perfect. Fits perfect, provides great protection and doesn't interfere with cordless charging. As I said, perfect for my needs.
My only complaint was the long wait to actually receive the Tech21 after I ordered it. It took more than 20 days for the item to arrive. The company was great in responding to my questions, but that sure didn't speed the shipping. It was sent from England, "Par Avion" & I couldn't believe air mail could be so slow. Accordingly, I would rate the product 5 stars, but the delivery speed drops the whole experience down to 4 stars.

Fits well but I don't like the new style if closure in the case. I preferred the note 8 case as it fit more snugly. This is. Decent case for the note 9 but I ultimately back to the defender case. If it still had the tighter fitting front cover, I would give it 5 stars.

I had the Tech21 for the Note 8 and generally loved the combination of protection and slimness. This case improves with a textured back (the earlier slick back held fingerprints and always looked dirty) and a magnetic clasp instead of a fragile snap clasp.

I know this review should be about the case not the vendor, but it is worth pointing out this site has the lowest price on the web for this fantastic case.

PS Review below is incorrect. There is not magnet on the right side of the case. the magnet is in the lid, and since you open the lid to use the phone, there is no way it could interfere with the pen. It is true that the corner where you take out the pen lacks protection though (also a complaint on a review below).

The s-pen doesn't work because of the magnet position. You loose functionality over the right hand portion of the screen. It also interferes with the s-pen remote feature and leads to errors about the pen being disconnected.
The case doesn't shut fully leaving a gap around the screen area. A key or grit could easily get in there.
The moulded sides are sharp and uncomfortable and the retaining flap is loose leading to discomfort when using the case.
Overall a very poor case.

This is a great case. It looks and feels like a premium case should do. It Protects my note 9 very well. I have already dropped it numerous times and not a scratch or a blemish on my phone. The Magnet is great and it shuts ever time with out a problem. I'm confident this case will last a long time with its sturdy build. Time will tell. Its not the cheapest case but it was worth the spend to protect my phone. Very happy overall

Needs a bigger magnet on case as the one thats on it is not quite in right place meaning that case doesnt shut properly ther is a 5 mm gap between the screen and the case where it fastens not what i expexted at this price
