I'm sorry to say this but this case was not able to protect my phone. I dropped my phone from my car when i went down, face down on a concrete. It cracked my screen, the height was just less than 4 feet. I did not expect it at all because I am confident with the case. The repair for the broken screen was $200 Usd.
Sad to say Zizo case failed

This is my second Zizo Bolt Case and belt Clip as a smart phone owner and love gadgets, like nothing but the best. I work out doors up and down ladders so wanted a tough and robust case. Sad to say Zizo case failed, the first one arrived with a shattered screen protector and after a few days the belt clip broke. Paid up front for a replacement, which lasted a bit longer until last week my phone fell out of my hands at ground level and the tampered glass screen protector came apart with many cracks. Suppose to be military tested, however still thinking of getting another one as my Galaxy note 7 will be swapped out for a S7 Edge tomorrow. Unless someone can recommend a better alternative don't mind paying a few quid extra for quality but must be worn on my belt as all pockets carry tools

This case seems to be of good quality, is robust and aesthetically pleasing.
The screen protector that came with it was not great. It may be that I fitted it incorrectly, but if so it is quite hard to get right. The touch screen was less responsive with the screen protector on. In fact a moderately light touch in some regions was not detected at all. So I ended up not using the screen protector.
The volume and power buttons require quite a lot of force to operate with this case on. Maybe that is not a bad thing, but it takes some getting used to.
I actually dropped the phone onto a wooden floor by accident shortly after putting on this case. It seemed to protect the phone, and the case did not fly off as was common with previous cases I have owned for other phones. But the stylus did come loose. That seems unavoidable when dropping phones with a stylus, at least until Samsung innovates a bit more. So when you drop your phone, always check that you haven't lost the stylus by accident.
Overall, I am pleased with the price and quality of this case.
